A very fine piece for something over fifteen years old: bright yellow with no fading, Mansion.com sponsor intact, seams and black side panels flawless, cuffs still firm. For full transparency I disclose a tiny, barely visible mark on the lower part of the shirt (see photo 6) — you really have to look for it, but it is there, and it explains the 9 rather than a 10.

📖 2008-2009: the great escape season
No recent Tottenham season started this badly, or ended this well. This yellow Puma shirt with the Mansion.com sponsor is what the White Hart Lane goalkeepers wore during one of the most spectacular turnarounds in the club's modern history.
📅 Autumn 2008 — the club's worst Premier League start. Two points from eight matchdays. Juande Ramos was sacked in October and Harry Redknapp took over a side sitting bottom of the table.
📅 1 March 2009 — League Cup final at Wembley. Tottenham held Manchester United to 0-0 for 120 minutes before losing on penalties. A night where the goalkeeper takes centre stage.
📅 May 2009 — the recovery. Bottom of the table in October, Tottenham finished 8th in the Premier League. Redknapp set in motion the run that would take Spurs into the Champions League two years later.
🧤 The goalkeepers of that season — Heurelho Gomes, signed from PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2008, and Carlo Cudicini, who arrived in January 2009 after a decade at Chelsea, shared the goal. This blank shirt can take the nameset of your choice — or stay exactly as it is.

Is the tiny mark a problem?
Honestly, no: it sits on the lower part of the shirt and you need to know where to look to spot it. I still photograph it (photo 6) because I would rather you decide with full information. It is the only defect found on the whole piece.
Why does the shirt have no nameset?
It is blank, exactly as it was sold in shops at the time. That is an advantage: you can keep it as it is, or have it printed with the goalkeeper of your choice (Gomes, Cudicini…) or with your own name.
How does this shirt fit in size L?
Goalkeeper shirts are deliberately cut wider. Flat measurements are listed above (55 cm width, 72 cm length): compare them with a top you already own. More detail in my size guide.
