📐 Flat measurements

Width (pit to pit) 48 cm
Length (shoulder to hem) 70 cm

Lay a shirt that fits you well flat, measure it the same way and compare — vintage often sizes differently from new.

9.5/10

Shirt condition

As new

One point only, and you really have to look for it: a single micro pill on the front (visible in photo 6, I had to zoom in to make it legible). Nothing else. On an all-white shirt that is ten years old, that is exceptional: the white has not yellowed, neither at the underarms nor at the collar — the two areas where it always shows first. The waffle knit specific to this shirt is intact, with no flattened areas. The JAMES 10 print is flawless, including the miniature crests at the base of the numbers. The LFP patch is perfectly bonded, the embroidered crest has no pulled threads, and the long sleeves have kept all their cuff elasticity.

Size S (see flat measurements above)
Brand adidas (climacool technology, waffle knit)
Season 2015-2016 — the season of La Undécima
Version Home, white, long sleeves, crew neck, tonal three stripes
Sponsor Fly Emirates, printed in charcoal grey
Printing JAMES No.10 in black with a triple outline, Real Madrid crest built into the base of each number
Patches LFP (La Liga) patch on one sleeve
Production date 04/15 — readable on the label (photo 4)
Auth. code S12653 (independently verifiable)

Unsure about the size? This adidas S is fitted (48 x 70 cm) and the long sleeves are snug at the wrists: compare the flat measurements above, or check my sizing guide.

100% AUTHENTIC

✦ Authenticity guaranteed for life

Item checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If an item bought from me is ever identified as a counterfeit, I refund it in full. Guarantee with no expiry date.

  • Inner label photographed (photo 4): adidas reference S12653 and production date 04/15. April 2015, the first run of the shirt launched for the 2015-2016 season
  • The honeycomb waffle knit is specific to this shirt: you can feel it across the whole body, and it disappears on the shoulder panels. Copies use a uniform smooth jersey
  • The crest is embroidered, not printed (photo 3): the gold crown, the blue of the shield and the MCF initials are in relief, with thread that catches the light
  • The LFP patch identifies the Spanish league version, distinct from Champions League shirts which carry the starball and RESPECT
  • Real photos of the exact item sold, never stock images — full method in my authentication guide

🛠️ Workshop note — Look at the outline of the numbers in photo 5: it is not single but triple, three offset black lines creating a stepped shadow effect. That is Real's official font of the period, and exactly what redone prints simplify into a single outline. Zoom in on the base of each number too: the Real Madrid crest is printed there in white on the black, crown included, across a few millimetres. Two details that only coexist on original printing.

📖 The Undécima season, in long sleeves

A white long-sleeve Real Madrid shirt printed with James Rodríguez's 10: that is the image of winter nights at the Bernabéu in the mid-2010s.

🏆 The 11th Champions League. Real won the Milan final in May 2016 against Atlético, on penalties. “La Undécima”, won in this shirt's season.

🇨🇴 James, the Colombian 10. Signed in 2014 after a World Cup where he finished top scorer, he wore Real's number 10. Few non-European players have carried it in the club's history.

🧵 A long-sleeve version, not an adaptation. Long sleeves were produced in limited runs alongside the short-sleeve version: they are far harder to find today, especially printed.

🎨 Pure white, no compromise — adidas pushed the monochrome all the way: tonal white three stripes, charcoal sponsor, no colour other than the gold of the crest. One of the most stripped-back home kits of the decade.

👉 I have other Madrid shirts from the same period in my Real Madrid shirts, and more long-sleeve pieces in my long sleeve selection.

On authenticity

🎯 Who is this shirt for?

← Swipe →

01

The James fan

Real's number 10 worn by a Colombian: a rare chapter in the club's history, and a sought-after print.

02

The long-sleeve collector

Produced in far smaller numbers than the short-sleeve version, and much harder to find today.

03

The Undécima collector

The season of the 11th Champions League, won in Milan against Atlético.

04

The condition purist

An all-white shirt ten years old that has not yellowed: the colour and the age where nothing is forgiven.

Not sure? My Mystery Box offer is a great alternative — just write “Real Madrid” in the order notes.

❓ Frequently asked questions about this shirt

Has the white yellowed?

No, and that is the first thing I check on a white shirt of this age. No yellowing at the underarms, no ring at the collar, no greyish patches. The white is even across the whole surface. The photos show the exact item sold.

Is the micro pill visible when worn?

No. It is under a millimetre across and I had to zoom in heavily to make it visible in photo 6. A fabric shaver removes it in two seconds — I left it so you receive the shirt exactly as photographed.

What does the LFP patch mean?

It is the Spanish La Liga logo, worn on the sleeve in league matches. Champions League shirts from the same season carry the UEFA starball and the RESPECT band instead: this item is therefore the league version.

Is this shirt authentic?

Yes. adidas label referenced S12653 and dated 04/15, waffle knit specific to this model, embroidered crest in relief, official LFP patch and triple-outlined printing with a miniature crest. Lifetime authenticity guarantee, full refund if a doubt is ever proven.

How does this long-sleeve S fit?

Measured flat: 48 cm pit to pit and 70 cm long. A fitted adidas S, with elasticated cuffs that sit snug. If you wear a S and like it loose, size up.

How much is shipping and how long does it take?

Shipped within 48 working hours with Colissimo tracking (€5.99 in mainland France, free over €100). International rates and delivery times are detailed in my shipping FAQ. Returns accepted within 14 days if unworn.
