PSG 2017-2018 Home Shirt - Mbappé No.29 (M)

⚠️ Read this before you buy

Two things to know. A small repaired snag at the bottom of the left sleeve, just above the hem, in the burgundy knit (photo 6): it is under a centimetre and it is closed, it will not spread. A pulled thread repaired on the front, on the left panel, halfway down (photo 7): a discreet stitch, visible only up close. Nothing else — no stains, no open holes.

📐 Flat measurements

Lay flat a shirt that already fits you well, measure it the same way and compare — vintage sizing is often very different from new.

Good condition for a worn shirt, apart from the two repairs flagged above. The navy is still deep and even, the central red chevron stripe is crisp from collar to hem, and the burgundy raglan sleeves have not bled. The white, red-outlined MBAPPÉ No.29 nameset is complete, acute accent included, with both LFP patches intact at the foot of the 2 and the 9. Embroidered PSG crest with bright colours, smooth Swoosh and Fly Emirates, sleeve QNB with no cracking. Round collar with no stretching. Washed and inspected in my workshop, no odour.

• Original Nike label photographed (photo 4): production code SU171103NAG, size M, reference 847269-430 and barcode 886916452603. 847269-430 is the exact reference of the 2017-2018 PSG home shirt
• The ICI C'EST PARIS lettering is printed inside the collar (photo 2), in white on the navy band. That is an original finishing detail, almost always forgotten on reproductions
• The central red stripe is a woven chevron (photo 3): up close you can make out a run of small red Vs, not a flat block. On copies the stripe is plain and printed flat
• The LFP patches are built into the foot of the digits (photos 1 and 5): two small red squares at the base of the 2 and the 9. That is the season's official Ligue 1 marking
• The PSG crest is embroidered edge to edge (photo 3): the red Eiffel Tower, the cradle and the fleur-de-lys are in dense thread on blue, with a sharp outline and a clean reverse under the finger

📖 Mbappé's first Paris season

In the summer of 2017, Kylian Mbappé left Monaco for PSG and chose the number 29. This home shirt is from his first season in Paris.

🏆 The 2018 domestic treble. PSG won Ligue 1, the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue in that 2017-2018 season.

🔢 The 29, not yet the 7. Mbappé wore 29 for his first two Paris seasons before taking the 7. That number did not last long, which is exactly what makes the nameset sought after.

🗼 Ici c'est Paris. Inside the collar, Nike printed the Parc des Princes motto, invisible once the shirt is on.

🎨 Navy, red and burgundy — Nike went back to PSG's historic Hechter layout: navy ground, wide central red stripe, here worked as a woven chevron. The burgundy raglan sleeves, knitted with red dots, bring the contrast, with QNB set on the right.
