📐 Flat measurements

Lay flat a shirt that already fits you well, measure it the same way and compare — vintage sizing is often very different from new.

No flaws. The white is still clean, with no yellowing at the collar or underarms, and the blue and red print has no faded areas. The navy BOUADDI No.32 nameset is spotless: letters and digits perfectly bonded, no cracking, and the two small Ligue 1 hexagons set inside the 3 and the 2 are intact. The LOSC crest is embroidered and firmly attached, as is the Ligue 1 Uber Eats sleeve patch. V-neck with no stretching, inner red trim intact, NB DRY logo at the lower back crisp. No odour, washed and inspected in my workshop.

• Original New Balance label photographed (photo 4): the line ALL840 / MT230253 / 2023/2024 gives the season directly, and the three manufacturer codes RN#96937, CA#06054 and SA RN#01759939 match the exact New Balance format for that period
• The Ligue 1 hexagons are built into the digits (photo 5): one in the lower loop of the 3, one in the 2. That is the signature of the official LFP nameset, and copies stop at the bare number
• « LOSC » and the Lille iris printed under the back collar (photo 5): the iris flower, the city's emblem, sits above the club's wordmark. A detail reproductions skip or distort
• The print is not screen-printed, it is woven in relief (photo 3): the shirt's textured knit creates micro-relief across the whole surface, and the blue and red dashes follow that texture instead of covering it

📖 Bouaddi at 16, and Lille back in Europe

This shirt tells two stories at once: Lille climbing back into the top four, and a teenager from Roubaix breaking into the first team.

⚡ Ayyoub Bouaddi, a professional at 16. Born in October 2007 and raised at the club, he made his Ligue 1 debut during this 2023-2024 season, becoming one of the youngest players ever to wear the Lille shirt.

🏆 Lille back in Europe. Fourth in Ligue 1 at the end of the campaign, the club secured European qualification — its best season since the 2021 title.

🎯 A No.32 that barely circulated. Bouaddi was not offered as a shop nameset that season, so shirts carrying his name stayed genuinely scarce and are hard to find today.

🎨 White, blue, red — Lille's colours, scattered — New Balance covered this away shirt with a spread of blue and red dashes and blocks on white, like a scrambled signal. One of the most recognisable designs in recent Ligue 1, and one of the few never brought back.
