A year after the historic 2015-2016 Premier League title won at 5000-1 odds, Leicester City entered the 2016-2017 season with their first-ever Champions League campaign. Domestically the season was tougher (Claudio Ranieri was sacked in February 2017, the club finished 12th), but Jamie Vardy remained the club's emblematic figure.
