📖 2012-2013: Chelsea after the European crown
This third shirt belongs to the season following Chelsea's very first European champion title (May 2012, penalty shootout win over Bayern Munich, in a final played in Munich). Ramires, the Brazilian midfielder, had been one of the key architects of that European run.
📅 24 April 2012 — The Camp Nou chip. In the Champions League semi-final second leg against FC Barcelona, Ramires scores a goal that remains famous: a daring chip over Victor Valdes that sends Chelsea to the final.
📅 May 2013 — Europa League title. In this same 2012-13 season, Chelsea win the UEFA Europa League against Benfica, with Ramires still a fixture in the Blues' midfield.
👑 Ramires — Brazilian midfielder signed from Benfica in 2010, known for his physical work rate and ability to cover the whole pitch, a key piece of the Di Matteo then Benitez-era Chelsea.
