Excellent condition

The green and white hoops are crisp, the white has not yellowed and the polo collar is still firm. Only one point to flag: a tiny beige spot on a white hoop at the bottom of the shirt (photo 6), barely visible and likely to come out in the wash. Hence the 9/10 rating.

Workshop note — The first detail I look at on this model is the SCP monogram embroidered above the crest: thick letters, tight stitches, no loose thread. There is no readable product code on the Macron label, so I rely on the embroidery and the finish. The name and number were applied in my workshop: I never use them as proof.

Sporting 2015-2016, back at the top

Summer 2015: Jorge Jesus left Benfica for their Lisbon rivals. His first official match went well, as Sporting beat Benfica 1-0 in the Portuguese Super Cup in August.

A title lost by two points. Sporting finished the league on 86 points, their best tally at the time, but Benfica ended two points ahead.

Are the name and number original?

The GELSON 60 name and number were applied in my workshop. I never count them among the proofs of authenticity: those relate to the shirt only.

Why is there no sponsor on the front?

This example was produced without a chest sponsor. The shirt is exactly as I received it, nothing has been removed.

Is the tiny spot a problem?

No: it is a beige dot of a few millimetres on a white hoop, at the bottom of the shirt (photo 6). It should come out in the wash.

How does this M fit?

True to size, rather close to the body: 48 cm pit to pit and 74 cm long. If in doubt, compare with a shirt you already wear.
