The navy blue has kept all its depth and the beige denim-style topstitching is intact across the whole shirt. The crest, the grey shoulder stripes and the GIGNAC 9 lettering are sharp. One small flaw: a few small chips on the Intersport logo on the chest (photo 6), hence the 9/10 rating.

What you need to know about this piece
A few small chips on the Intersport logo on the front (photo 6). They stay discreet from a distance and affect neither the crest nor the lettering; the 9/10 rating reflects them.

Workshop note — Code Z27603 matches OM's 2013-2014 away shirt. On this model, I look at the contrasting topstitching first: even and seamless, it is hard to reproduce cleanly. The lettering and the Ligue 1 patch were applied in my workshop: I never use them as proof.
André-Pierre Gignac, the local boy
Born in Martigues, André-Pierre Gignac joined OM in the summer of 2010, after finishing as Ligue 1 top scorer with Toulouse in 2008-2009.
2013-2014, a turbulent season. OM returned to the Champions League group stage against Arsenal, Dortmund and Napoli, then finished sixth in Ligue 1.
A one-of-a-kind away shirt. adidas dressed OM in navy with jeans-style topstitching, a rare textile nod on a football shirt.
The following season, under Marcelo Bielsa, Gignac scored 21 Ligue 1 goals before joining Tigres in Mexico.
The GIGNAC 9 lettering and the Ligue 1 patch were applied in my workshop. I never count them as proof of authenticity: that proof is about the shirt alone.
Why the beige seams?
That is the design adidas chose for this away shirt: contrasting topstitching that mimics denim. It is neither a repair nor wear.
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
Look at the small inner label: code Z27603 should be there with the date 02/13. You can type this code into a search engine to check the model yourself.
