Workshop note — On such a recent shirt, I always start with the label: style code 775201-03 matches the 2024-2025 City third, and the May 2024 date fits a release at the start of the season. The tonal pattern must stay regular right under the arms: it does here.

Nico O'Reilly, the academy kid

A product of the Manchester City academy, Nico O'Reilly was one of the young players handed a first-team chance in 2024-2025, with number 75 on his back.

A season of transition: after four consecutive English titles, City finished third in the Premier League.

May 2025, FA Cup final at Wembley, lost 1-0 to Crystal Palace.

As the months went by, O'Reilly found his place in Pep Guardiola's rotation, in midfield and at left back. This burgundy third is the shirt of his debut season.

Yes, the Starball and UEFA Foundation patches were applied in my workshop. They are not used as proof of authenticity: that rests on the label, the crest and the construction of the shirt.

How can I check the shirt is authentic?

Start with the inner label: code 775201-03 and the production date must be sharp, with the QR code. Then look at the crest and at how regular the tonal pattern is across the whole shirt.

Has the shirt been worn?

I see no sign of use: colours, sponsor and printing are sharp, with no pilling or marks. That is why it gets a 10/10.

How does this L fit?
