No flaws. On an orange this saturated, the slightest fading would jump out — there is none, and the fade to blue-purple stays crisp all the way down the shirt. The fine horizontal stripes are intact, with no washing moiré. The TOURE YAYA 42 print is flawless, including the Premier League lions tucked inside the numbers. Both Premier League patches are perfectly bonded, no lifted edges, no yellowing of the white outline. Crisp circular crest, V-neck with no stretching, no pilling, no snags.

📅 Pep Guardiola's first season. He arrived in the summer of 2016 and immediately rewrote the club's playbook. City finished 3rd in the Premier League — the only trophyless season of his Manchester spell, before the haul that followed.
⚡ The Yaya Touré – Guardiola stand-off. Left out of the squad early in the season, the Ivorian returned to the starting eleven in the autumn and became decisive again. A pivotal season for him, two years before he left the club.

❓ Frequently asked questions about this shirt
Why does the print say “TOURE YAYA” and not “YAYA TOURE”?
Because that is how he was registered with the Premier League, and therefore how it appeared on his shirt. It is an authenticity marker: prints added later by resellers almost always flip the two words.
How do you know it is really 2016-2017?
Three elements line up: the Nike reference 776901-817 on the label, the batch HO160307NAG (2016 production), and above all the purple lion patches, which appeared precisely that season.
Has the orange faded?
No, and that is the first thing I check on a colour this bright. No washed-out areas, no shoulder haze, no marks. The fade to blue is as sharp as day one. The photos show the exact item sold.
