Nothing to report. The red is bright, the tone-on-tone diagonal stripes are crisp across the whole front, and the polo collar holds its shape. The fox on the crest and the Puma cat are intact, the King Power print is a clean white with no cracking, and the back flocking lies perfectly flat.

100% AUTHENTIC
✦ Authenticity guaranteed for life
Piece checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If a piece bought from me ever turned out not to be authentic, I refund it in full. No expiry on this guarantee: only original pieces, never modern re-editions.
Inner labels: multilingual care labels with the address of the UK importer in Manchester, even print (photo 4)
Embroidered crest: fox and rose on a blue background, fine and legible LEICESTER CITY FOOTBALL CLUB lettering on the ring (photo 3)
Embroidered Puma logo in white on the chest, and printed cats on the shoulders
Cut and finish: bright red polo collar, contrasting shoulder panel, diagonal stripes built into the fabric, Puma label printed at the nape
Workshop note — On Leicester shirts from the Puma era, I look at the crest first: the circular lettering must stay legible down to the small letters of FOOTBALL CLUB, and the fox's muzzle must be embroidered without smudging. Here, everything is clean.
Mahrez, the year after the miracle
In May 2016, Leicester City won the Premier League, a title nobody had seen coming. Riyad Mahrez, signed from Le Havre in 2014, was one of its key figures: he was named PFA Players' Player of the Year, a first for an African player.
The 2016-2017 season opened the doors of the Champions League to the Foxes for the first time in their history. They topped their group and knocked out Sevilla in the round of 16.
April 2017: the adventure ends in the quarter-finals against Atlético Madrid. English champions one year earlier, European quarter-finalists at their first attempt.
Mahrez wore 26 throughout his years at Leicester, before joining Manchester City in 2018.
The starball is the Champions League badge, and RESPECT is the UEFA campaign worn in its competitions. They recall the club's first European campaign, in 2016-2017.
Has the shirt been worn?
It shows no sign of use: no pilling, no fading, no pulled threads. I rate it 10/10, as new, without a retail tag attached.
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
Look at the fine lettering around the crest and the quality of the fox embroidery. The multilingual inner labels and the embroidered Puma logo complete the check.
How does this XL fit?
It measures 56 cm pit to pit and 81 cm in length. A true XL, quite long: ideal if you wear XL or a roomy L.
