Zlatan in Hollywood
In March 2018, Zlatan Ibrahimović left Manchester United for LA Galaxy, the most decorated club in MLS. He took the number 9 and landed in a league that had never seen a striker of his calibre at the peak of his form.
31 March 2018: in his first game, against LAFC, he came off the bench, scored a volley from almost 40 metres and then the winner in a 4-3 victory, with the Galaxy having been 3-0 down.
This away shirt belongs to his second and final season in Los Angeles. In 2019 he scored 30 regular-season goals, a club record for a single season, and led the Galaxy into the playoffs.
The run ended in the conference semi-final against LAFC. In November 2019, Zlatan announced his departure and returned to Europe with AC Milan.
