📖 2015-2016: when Drogba changed Montreal
A Chelsea legend joining an MLS club was not a gentle retirement: it was a statement. This white fleur-de-lys shirt belongs to that Quebec chapter.
📅 27 July 2015 — the signing. Didier Drogba joined the Montreal Impact as a designated player and took the No.11. The biggest coup in the club's history.
📅 5 September 2015 — a hat-trick on his first start. Against Chicago, Drogba scored three straight away. MLS discovered the Ivorian had not come for a holiday.
📅 End of 2015 — 11 goals in 11 regular season games. A staggering ratio over half a season, which earned him a place in the MLS Best XI.
📅 Autumn 2016 — the conference final. The Impact reached the Eastern Conference final, their best MLS run ever, before losing to Toronto FC. Drogba left the club at the end of the season.

Is the shirt 100% authentic?
Yes. Original adidas label 11/14 / M33171 (photo 4), adizero print (photo 7), raised crest, woven fleur-de-lys pattern and compliant MLS patches. Real photos of the exact item sold, lifetime authenticity guarantee.
What is the difference between adizero and the fan version?
The adizero version is the match-worn spec: lighter technical knit, very slim cut, ventilation panels. The fan replica is roomier and in standard polyester. The “adizero” print at the hem appears only on the player version.
Why does the label read 11/14?
adidas codes indicate the production date, not the season worn. MLS runs on a calendar year, so kits are manufactured the previous autumn. A November 2014 production therefore matches the 2015 cycle, this shirt having been worn across Drogba's Montreal seasons.
Has the white yellowed?
No. It is the first thing I check on a white shirt: collar, armpits and hem are clean, with no halo. Photos are taken in neutral light, unretouched.
How does this shirt fit in size S?
Very small: this is a player cut, tailored close to the body. 44 cm across when laid flat is narrow even for a standard S. Do compare with a shirt you already own before ordering. More detail in my size guide.
