Galatasaray 2021-2022 Away Shirt - Falcao No. 9 (L)

The anthracite is even, with no pilling or fading. The yellow-orange and red chest band has kept all its brightness, and the four-star crest and the embroidered Swoosh are sharp. The Sixt sponsor shows only a light surface patina, and the printing is complete and lies flat.

Galatasaray in Europe, Falcao's legacy

Radamel Falcao arrived in Istanbul in September 2019 and became Galatasaray's number 9. He wore the club's shirt for two seasons, before joining Rayo Vallecano at the start of the 2021-2022 season.

That season, the club shone above all in Europe.

Autumn 2021: Galatasaray top their Europa League group unbeaten, ahead of Lazio, Marseille and Lokomotiv Moscow.

March 2022: after a 0-0 draw at the Camp Nou, the Turkish side lose 2-1 in Istanbul to FC Barcelona in the round of 16.
