Galatasaray 2019-2020 Home Shirt - R. Babel #11 (S)

The yellow-orange and red are vivid, with no fading or pilling. The crest, the four stars and the Swoosh are sharp. One thing to note: fine micro signs of wear on the white of the number 11 on the back, barely visible (photo 6). The rest of the printing is complete and lies flat.

Galatasaray, champions and back in Europe

In May 2019, Galatasaray complete the Turkish league and cup double. This 22nd league title takes them straight into the group stage of the 2019-2020 Champions League.

For that campaign, the club signs Ryan Babel. The Dutch winger, formerly of Liverpool and Ajax, already knows Turkish football from his time at Beşiktaş.

Autumn 2019: the draw puts Galatasaray in Group A, alongside PSG, Real Madrid and Club Brugge.

This split home shirt, yellow-orange on one side and red on the other, carries the two historic colours of the club founded in 1905.
