Shirt condition

Perfect condition

No flaws. The red is still deep and even, with no faded patches and no discolouration under the arms. The yellow DOKU No.25 nameset is perfect: the letters and digits have kept their honeycomb perforated texture, with no cracking and no lifting corners. The embroidered Belgian FA crest is flawless, crown included, and both sleeve patches (Nations League and UEFA Foundation) are firmly attached. The black shoulder panels and side stripes show no wear, and the sleeve « flame » print is crisp. No odour, washed and inspected in my workshop.

100% AUTHENTIC

✦ Authenticity guaranteed for life

Item checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If anything you buy from me is ever identified as a fake, I refund it in full. The guarantee never expires.

  • Original Adidas label photographed (photo 4): production date 06/22, product reference HD9412 and internal code AV1008. That three-line layout is exactly how Adidas labelled 2022 shirts, and the June 2022 date matches the Nations League campaign production run
  • The nameset is perforated, not solid (photo 5): the digits are covered in tiny honeycomb holes for heat release. That is the signature of the official 2022 Adidas nameset — copies print a flat block of yellow
  • Raised embroidered crest with a separate crown (photo 3): the Royal Belgian FA shield is embroidered thread by thread, the crown independently above it, and the laurel branches in fine stitching. On a fake the whole thing is a single heat-pressed patch
  • Both sleeve patches are stitched, not glued (photos 1 and 2): the multicoloured Nations League badge and the UEFA Foundation for Children badge are overlocked in place, exactly as on the shirts issued to the squads
  • Real photos of the exact shirt you receive, never stock images — full method in my authentication guide

🛠️ Workshop note — On recent national-team shirts the quickest check is the sleeve print. Look at photo 2: the red, black and yellow « flame » is not a motif applied on top of the fabric, it is sublimated into the knit. Run a finger over it: you feel no difference in relief at all between the red and the black. A copy screen-prints that motif, and the printed area turns slightly stiff and shiny to the touch. Second check, inside the collar: the grey lining should be a single piece, with no centre seam.

📖 Doku, the dribbler who took over from the golden generation

This shirt captures the handover. Belgium's golden generation was playing its last campaign, and the baton was passing to the young ones — starting with the most explosive winger on the continent.

⚡ The Portugal game, Euro 2020. At 19, Doku tormented the Portuguese defence in the round of 16 and walked off as man of the match. The night that turned him from prospect into a Belgium starter.

🎯 Made at Anderlecht, revealed at Rennes. A professional at 16 with RSCA, sold to Stade Rennais in 2020 for one of the biggest fees in the club's history, then signed by Manchester City in 2023.

🏆 The golden generation, world No.1 for four years. From September 2018 to March 2022, Belgium sat top of the FIFA ranking almost without interruption. This shirt belongs to the very end of that run.

🎨 Deep red and black shoulders — Adidas put Belgian red back at the centre, framed with black at the shoulders and sides, with yellow reserved for the number and the nameset. The sleeves carry a toned-down version of the « flame » motif FIFA had rejected on the Tomorrowland-inspired away kit.

🎯 Who is this shirt for?

← Swipe →

01

The Doku fan

A rare nameset: the Belgian winger turns up far more often in City sky blue than in Red Devils red.

02

The national-team collector

Original stitched Nations League and UEFA Foundation patches: a campaign piece, not a shop reissue.

03

The one who wears M

52 x 74 cm: a true-to-size cut, neither tight nor baggy, as wearable in town as at the ground.

04

The buyer who wants it mint

A straight 10/10, without a single flaw: perforated nameset intact and embroidered crest flawless.

Not sure? My Mystery Box offer is a great alternative — just add « national team » in the order notes.

❓ Frequently asked questions about this shirt

Is this the 2022 World Cup shirt?

It is Belgium's home shirt for 2022, carrying the UEFA Nations League and UEFA Foundation for Children patches on the sleeves — so the version worn during the European campaign, not the World Cup version (which carried FIFA badges). The label is dated June 2022, photo 4.

Is the DOKU nameset original?

Yes. It is the official 2022 Adidas nameset, recognisable by its honeycomb perforated texture across the whole surface of the letters and digits (photo 5). It is perfectly bonded, with no lifting corners and no cracking.

Has this shirt been worn?

Nothing suggests it has: I graded it 10/10 after a full inspection. No pilling, no stretched collar, no wear at the underarms or on the nameset. The photos are of the exact shirt for sale, in natural light and unretouched.

Is this shirt authentic?

Yes. Original Adidas label dated 06/22 with references HD9412 and AV1008, official perforated nameset, embroidered crest with separate crown, stitched sleeve patches and a « flame » print sublimated into the knit. Authenticity guaranteed for life.

How does this M fit?

Measured flat: 52 cm pit to pit and 74 cm long. This is an Adidas fan M, so true to size with a little room. If you wear M it will sit well; if you really like a fitted look, go one size down.

How much is shipping and how fast?

Dispatched within 48 working hours with tracked Colissimo (€5.99 in mainland France, free over €100). International rates and delivery times are detailed on my shipping FAQ. 14-day returns if unworn.
