No flaws. The maroon is deep and perfectly even, and above all the contrast with the darker shoulders has stayed crisp — on a shirt built from two close shades, that's what dulls first. The orange trims on the sleeves and sides are bright. The V-neck holds its shape, the embroidered crest is sharp, and the inner labels are complete and perfectly legible.

100% AUTHENTIC

✦ Authenticity guaranteed for life

Item checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If a piece bought from me is ever identified as a fake, I refund it in full. Guarantee with no expiry date.

  • Inner label photographed (photo 4): Nike reference 658924-678, size M, barcode 888408995537 and batch FA150206DHB. The FA15 prefix denotes the autumn 2015 collection
  • Raised embroidered crest: the Capitoline she-wolf suckling the twins is stitched thread by thread, with "ROMA" and "1927" legible under a loupe below the motif. On a copy, the whole thing is heat-pressed and the scene becomes an indistinct blur
  • The sewn "AUTHENTIC" tab at the bottom right: that small woven rectangle with the swoosh, visible in photo 2, only appears on official Nike shirts from this period. It's stitched on three sides, not heat-pressed
  • The shoulders are a separate panel: the darker maroon across the top isn't printed, it's a piece of knit joined and topstitched. Turn the shirt inside out and the seam runs from one armhole to the other
  • Real photos of the exact shirt for sale, never stock images — full method in my authentication guide

🛠️ Workshop note — The one detail that dates this shirt on its own: the chest is empty. No main sponsor, just the swoosh and the crest. That's extremely rare in modern football, and it essentially only happens to two clubs — Barcelona in the unicef years, and Roma in these seasons. When a maroon shirt with orange trims arrives here with nothing across the torso, I know immediately which window I'm searching. Practical upshot for you: it's also one of the easiest football shirts to wear day to day, since it carries no commercial branding at all.

📖 The Roman 11, before everything else

Today we associate him with Liverpool red. But before Anfield there was Rome: two seasons in giallorosso maroon that took Mohamed Salah from a player on loan from Chelsea to a European star.

🇪🇬 On loan from Chelsea, then bought. Salah arrived on loan in early 2015 before Roma signed him permanently. The No.11 was his.

🏟️ Totti was still there. 2015-2016 is still the era of the club's historic captain in the dressing room — a shirt from the final stretch of his career.

⭐ Champions League on the schedule. Roma played the European group stage that season, hence the Starball and the RESPECT band on the sleeves.

🎨 Two maroons and an orange — Nike played here on two shades of dark red separated by a shoulder line, lifted by orange on the sleeves. Understated, sponsor-free, and probably the most elegant Roma home shirt of the decade.

🎯 Who is this shirt for?

← Scroll →

01

The Salah fan

His Roman No.11, from before Liverpool — far less common than his English shirts.

02

The romanista

The she-wolf over the heart, from the era when Totti was still in the dressing room.

03

The one who hates logos

No sponsor on the chest: a football shirt you can wear like an ordinary piece of clothing.

04

The condition stickler

10/10 on a ten-year-old shirt with complete inner labels: that doesn't come up often.

Not sure? My Mystery Box offer is a great alternative — just write "AS Roma" in the order notes.

❓ Frequently asked questions about this shirt

Is the nameset original?

No, and I'd rather be straight with you: the shirt is 100% authentic, but the M.SALAH No.11 nameset is a premium reproduction that I applied by hand in my workshop, in the official font of the 2015-2016 season — the one with the ornamental pattern inside the numbers. That's an advantage: it's brand new, guaranteed not to crack or peel.

And the Champions League and RESPECT patches?

Same thing: I applied them in the workshop at the same time as the nameset. So they aren't period patches and they aren't proof of anything. What proves the shirt is authentic is the referenced label, the embroidered crest, the sewn AUTHENTIC tab and the panelled construction — not what was added afterwards.

Why is there no sponsor on the chest?

Because Roma played without a main shirt sponsor at that time. This isn't an incomplete shirt or a "stripped" version: it's exactly the configuration worn on the pitch. It's also what makes it one of the most wearable shirts in my shop.

How do you know it's really 2015-2016?

The label carries Nike reference 658924-678 and batch FA150206DHB — FA15 denotes the autumn 2015 collection. The two-tone maroon design with orange trims, plus the absence of a sponsor, confirm the window. You can check the reference yourself.

Does 10/10 mean brand new?

Here it means no flaws at all: no fading, no pilling, no stretching, complete inner labels. It doesn't have its original cardboard tags, but its condition is that of a shirt that has barely been used — remarkable for a ten-year-old piece.

How does this M fit?

Measured flat: 51 cm pit to pit and 74 cm long. A fairly true 2015 Nike M, neither tight nor roomy. If you wear an M today, it should suit you as is.

How much is shipping and how long does it take?

Sent within 48 working hours with Colissimo tracking (€5.99 in mainland France, free from €100). International rates and delivery times are detailed in my shipping FAQ. Returns accepted within 14 days if unworn.
