📐 Flat measurements

Width (pit to pit) 59 cm
Length (shoulder to hem) 75 cm

The tip that prevents returns: lay flat a shirt that fits you well, measure it the same way and compare. Vintage often fits differently from new — this Puma XL is broad across the chest but stays short in length.

9.5/10

Shirt condition

Excellent condition

A lovely piece: the red is still vivid, the white sleeves have not yellowed, no holes, no stains, the GIROUD No.12 nameset is intact (photo 5) and the Premier League patches are firmly bonded. The one thing I want to flag: a few tiny bobbles on the fabric below the sponsor, which I photographed very close up (photo 6). Invisible at wearing distance, but they are why this is a 9.5 rather than a 10.

100% AUTHENTIC

✦ Authenticity guaranteed for life

Every piece is checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If a shirt bought from me is ever identified as a counterfeit, I refund it in full. Guarantee with no expiry date.

  • Original Puma inner label photographed (photo 4): it reads PUMA SE, Puma Way 1, Herzogenaurach and STYLE NO. 746446. That is Puma's official reference for this model, cross-checkable in shirt databases.
  • Raised embroidered Arsenal crest and embroidered leaping puma too (photo 3): on counterfeits, both are usually printed or heat-pressed
  • The wording “Future Forever” on the inner collar tape, specific to this generation of Puma Arsenal shirts
  • Full method: authentication guide

🛠️ Workshop note — Look at the bottom of the digits in photo 5: each one carries a Premier League lion. That is the league's official font from this era, the one you will not find on a nameset ordered online. And the Barclays patches are on both sleeves, as on match shirts.

📖 2014-2015: Arsenal leave Nike, Giroud wins the FA Cup

This shirt marks a break for Arsenal: it is the first Puma shirt in the club's history, after two decades under contract with Nike. For Gunners shirt collectors, 2014-2015 is therefore a pivotal season — a starting point, not just another year.

📅 Summer 2014 — a change of kit supplier. Arsenal signed with Puma and left Nike, who had supplied the club since the mid-1990s. This red home shirt with white sleeves is the first piece of that new era.

📅 30 May 2015 — Arsenal 4-0 Aston Villa. The FA Cup final at Wembley: Arsenal thrashed Aston Villa and retained the trophy. Olivier Giroud scored the fourth goal of the final. This shirt's season ended with a cup.

📅 The Barclays era. The “Barclays Premier League” sleeve patches date the piece at a glance: the league changed title sponsor and visual identity from 2016 onwards. That logo no longer exists.

👑 Olivier Giroud — an Arsenal striker from 2012 to 2018, he has since become France's all-time leading goalscorer, a world champion in 2018 and a Champions League winner with Chelsea. His Arsenal shirts with the No.12 nameset are sought after in France as much as in England.

🎯 Who is this shirt for?

← Scroll →

01

The Gunners collector

The club's first Puma shirt, an FA Cup-winning season, and Barclays patches that no longer exist. A piece that ticks three dating boxes at once.

02

The Giroud fan

France's record goalscorer and a world champion. His Arsenal No.12 in the official Premier League font is the shirt of his English years.

03

Anyone looking for XL

59 cm wide at 9.5/10: large sizes in excellent condition go quickly, especially on a home shirt this classic.

04

A gift for a PL fan

Red and white, Fly Emirates, Barclays patches: this is the very image of 2010s English football. A gift that speaks for itself.

Not sure? My Mystery Box offer is a great alternative — just add “Arsenal” in the order notes.

❓ Frequently asked questions about this shirt

Is the shirt 100% authentic?

Yes. The original Puma label is photographed (photo 4) with the reference STYLE NO. 746446. Embroidered Arsenal crest, embroidered leaping puma, “Future Forever” collar tape, official Barclays Premier League patches and a league-font nameset. Lifetime authenticity guarantee.

What exactly is the flaw?

A few tiny bobbles on the fabric, located below the sponsor, photographed close up (photo 6). That is the only flaw: no holes, no stains, no fading, nameset and patches intact. At normal distance you cannot see them.

Why is this season special for Arsenal?

Because 2014-2015 was Arsenal's first season kitted by Puma, after roughly twenty years with Nike. It is the start of a new aesthetic cycle for the club, and therefore a landmark season for anyone collecting Gunners shirts.

How does this Puma shirt fit in XL?

Actual flat measurements: 59 cm pit to pit, 75 cm in length. It is an XL that is broad across the shoulders but fairly short: if you are tall, check the length in particular. More benchmarks in my sizing guide.

Is there only one of these?

Yes. Every shirt I sell is a single piece, photographed exactly as it is. Once this one is gone, it does not come back: I never restock an identical second-hand model.

How much is shipping and how long does it take?

Dispatched within 48 working hours with tracked Colissimo delivery (€5.99 in mainland France, free from €100). International rates and delivery times are detailed in my shipping FAQ. Returns accepted within 14 days if unworn.
