Perfect condition
Nothing to report. The red and black stripes are vivid, the cream Fly Emirates sponsor has not a single crack, the buttoned placket collar keeps its shape and the fabric shows no pilling or snags.

-
adidas label (photo 4): date 02/14, reference D87224 and factory code AZB001
-
City of Milan emblem (photo 3): red cross on a white shield, small ACM logo in the centre and gold star above, sewn in relief
-
adidas logo and cream Fly Emirates sponsor, placed as on the shirts of the season
-
Fabric and cut: stripes of alternating widths woven into the knit, red perforated mesh panel inside
Workshop note — This model is easy to identify: it is the only recent Milan home shirt to replace the club crest with the city cross. I also check the stripes: they alternate two widths and two shades of red, a detail that unofficial pieces often simplify.
Honda and Inzaghi's Milan
For the 2014-2015 season, adidas made a bold choice: on the chest of the home shirt, the rossoneri crest gave way to the red cross of the city of Milan, the historic emblem of the city.
On the bench, Filippo Inzaghi succeeded Clarence Seedorf. Keisuke Honda, who had arrived in January 2014 with the number 10, enjoyed his best start to a season in Italy.
31 August 2014: on the opening day, Milan beat Lazio 3-1 at San Siro, and Honda opened the scoring.
Milan nevertheless finished the season tenth in Serie A. This shirt remains the one of a season apart, recognisable at first glance.
Frequently asked questions
Why does this shirt not have the usual Milan crest?
For 2014-2015, the club chose to display the red cross on a white background, emblem of the city of Milan, with a small ACM logo in the centre. That is what makes this model so recognisable.
Are the sleeve patches original?
No, the Serie A TIM patch and the 7 Champions League titles badge were applied in my workshop, at the same time as the printing. They are not used as proof of authenticity: the label, the emblem and the fabric establish it.
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
Look up the reference D87224 printed on the inner label: it should lead to the Milan 2014-2015 home shirt. The 02/14 date and the factory code must be perfectly aligned.
How does this S fit?
True to size: 47 cm pit to pit and 71 cm long. If you wear S on the high street, it should fit you.
