The white is bright and the perforated mesh shows no pilling. The orange collar keeps its vivid colour, and the black shoulders and cuffs are clean. One thing to point out: a very small light mark on the front, only visible up close (photo 6). The KANG IN 16 printing lies perfectly flat.

Valencia's centenary and young Kang-in

Founded in 1919, Valencia CF celebrated its 100th birthday during this 2019-2020 season. The club came in as Copa del Rey holders, having beaten FC Barcelona in the May 2019 final, but changed coach as early as September: Marcelino was replaced by Albert Celades.

Group winners. In the Champions League, Valencia topped a group that included Chelsea and Ajax, before going out to Atalanta in the last 16.

U-20 World Cup Golden Ball. A few weeks before this season, Valencia academy product Lee Kang-in was named best player of the 2019 U-20 World Cup with South Korea.

The Korean midfielder gradually worked his way into the first-team rotation, before moving on to Mallorca and then Paris Saint-Germain.
