Shirt condition

Very good condition

The white is clean, the embroidered crest and the NOS sponsor are intact, and the green cuffs are not stretched. Two points made me give it 8.5/10: slight wear on the Super Bock sponsor on the back (photos 6 and 7) and a tiny mark on the fabric (photo 8). Nothing that stands out once the shirt is worn.

Workshop note — Sporting's Macron shirts don't carry a small product code like adidas or Nike ones do, so I rely on the composition label, the crest embroidery and the regularity of the tone-on-tone print. Everything is in order.

Nuno Mendes and the Leões' title

In 2020-2021, Rúben Amorim's Sporting ended a long wait: the club had not been Portuguese champions since 2002. At left wing-back, a youngster from the Alcochete academy made the position his own: Nuno Mendes, aged 18.

11 May 2021: a 1-0 win over Boavista, and Sporting were crowned champions of Portugal.

Summer 2021: Nuno Mendes played at the Euro with Portugal, then joined Paris Saint-Germain.

This white third shirt, covered in the words of the supporters' chants, is the one from the season that introduced him to the world.

Is the wear on the Super Bock sponsor visible?

Up close, yes: fine micro-cracks in the green print, visible in photos 6 and 7. From a metre away, the sponsor remains perfectly readable and even.

Were the sleeve patches added?

Yes, the Europa League patch and the Respect patch were applied in the workshop. They are not used as proof of authenticity, which relies on the label, the crest and the construction of the shirt.

How can I check the shirt is authentic?

Look at the inner Macron label and the Italian headquarters address, then the crest embroidery. On this model, the tone-on-tone chants should be fine and perfectly readable up close.

How does this M fit?

Wide in the chest but short: 51 cm pit to pit for 71 cm in length. If you have a long torso, compare carefully with a shirt of your own.
