Perfect condition

The off-white is even, with no marks or yellowing at the collar, and the teal trims on the shoulders and sleeves are crisp. The crest, the Puma logo, the iridescent Etihad sponsor and the Nexen Tire sleeve logo are intact. The FODEN 47 print lies perfectly flat. Nothing to report.

Workshop note — The iridescent gradient on the Etihad logo is a good test on this model: it moves from pink to blue without a break. On unofficial pieces, it is often replaced by a flat colour or a gradient with visible bands.

Foden and the final-day title

A product of City's academy, Phil Foden has worn the number 47 since his debut. In 2021-2022, he became an undisputed starter in Pep Guardiola's side and won the PFA Young Player of the Year award for the second year running.

City and Liverpool fought for the title to the very end, separated by a single point before the last day.

22 May 2022, Etihad Stadium: 2-0 down to Aston Villa, City scored three times in five minutes to win 3-2. The title stayed in Manchester.
