FC Barcelona 2006-2007 Away Shirt - Ronaldinho N°10 (M)

The orange is bright and even, with no fading at the collar or shoulders. The embroidered crest, the swoosh and the LFP badge are intact, and the blue and garnet trims on the collar, sleeves and hem are crisp. The RONALDINHO 10 printing lies perfectly flat. Only point: the size and code label has faded away over the washes (photo 6).

Ronaldinho at his peak

The 2005 Ballon d’Or winner, Ronaldinho started the 2006-2007 season as Barça’s leader. A few months earlier, on 17 May 2006 in Paris, the club had beaten Arsenal 2-1 in the Champions League final and retained its Spanish title.

25 November 2006: against Villarreal at the Camp Nou, Ronaldinho chested the ball down and scored with a bicycle kick, one of the most famous goals of his career.

Yet the season was frustrating. In December, Barça lost the Club World Cup final to Internacional of Porto Alegre (1-0), then let La Liga slip to Real Madrid, level on points.

This orange shirt, with no sponsor on the chest, remains tied to Ronaldinho’s last great years in Catalonia before his move to AC Milan in 2008.
