Workshop note — Style 743555 is the 2013-2014 home shirt, and the 0513 date shows production in May 2013, just before the launch. On Puma shirts of this period, the label carries the full Herzogenaurach address: a detail I always check.

Klopp's BVB, after Wembley

On 25 May 2013, Dortmund lose the Champions League final to Bayern at Wembley (1-2). Ilkay Gündogan had scored the equalising penalty.

27 July 2013: instant revenge, BVB beat Bayern 4-2 in the German Super Cup.

2013-2014 season: second in the Bundesliga, German Cup finalists and Champions League quarter-finalists.

For Gündogan, it is a frustrating year: a back injury rules him out of almost the entire season. It is also Robert Lewandowski's last with Dortmund before his move to Munich.
