The black is deep, without the greyish cast dark shirts of this age often take on. The gold thread of the crest and adidas logo still shines, the tricolour band and the Fly Emirates sponsor are crisp, with no cracking. The polo collar holds its shape and the red shoulder stripes are bright.

✦ Lifetime authenticity guarantee
Checked by hand in my authentication workshop. If a piece bought from me ever turned out to be non-authentic, I refund it in full. A guarantee with no expiry: only original pieces, never modern re-releases.
adidas production label (photo 4): reference V13433, the one for the 2011-2012 third
ACM 1899 crest embroidered in gold thread, star above, even relief and well-formed letters (photo 3)
Gold embroidered adidas logo and a straight tricolour band, with no offset between colours
Finishing: polo collar, gold Associazione Calcio Milan lettering and tricolour trim at the back of the collar, ClimaCool badge at the bottom of the front
Workshop note — On this third, I look at the gold thread first: on an original piece, the crest and the adidas logo are embroidered with the same metallic thread, in an identical shade. The small tricolour trim under the collar lettering is a detail I check every time on adidas Milan shirts from this era.
Thiago Silva, the boss of Milan's defence
Signed from Fluminense, Thiago Silva established himself from 2009 as one of the best centre-backs in the world. At Milan, he wore the number 33.
May 2011: Massimiliano Allegri's Milan won the 18th scudetto in its history, with Thiago Silva at the heart of the defence.
The 2011-2012 season opened with an Italian Super Cup won against Inter. Milan finished second in Serie A, behind Juventus.
July 2012: Thiago Silva joined Paris Saint-Germain, at the same time as Zlatan Ibrahimović. This third is therefore one of his last rossoneri shirts.
It takes the colours of the Italian flag. On this black third, adidas placed it just above the sponsor, between the gold crest and the Fly Emirates lettering.
Are the Serie A and UEFA patches original?
No, they were applied in the workshop, at the same time as the name and number. They are not used as proof of authenticity: the label, the embroidered crest and the finishing establish it.
How can I check the shirt is authentic?
Find the reference V13433 on the inner label, then look at the gold embroidery of the crest and adidas logo, and the gold lettering at the back of the collar.
How does this S fit?
True to size. 48 cm pit to pit and 72 cm long: if you wear an S on the high street, it should fit you.
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
